God-Appointed Leadership

 

The Bible teaches us how the church should be led. 

 

• Christ is the head (Colossians 1:18) 

• Elders are apointed to shepherd the church (Acts 20:28; I Timothy 3:1-7)

• Deacons are apointed to serve and be workers for the church (I Timothy 3:8-13; Acts 6:1-7)  

• Ministers are to preach truth to the church (I Timothy 4:1-5)
